Getting Started

This guide explains the normal Notaday workflow from login to daily use.

Sign In

Notaday uses Google authentication for user accounts. More login methods are plannend for the future as for example Email/Password, Apple etc..

First Workflow

  1. Open the Timeline.
  2. Create a quick entry from the inline entry field.
  3. Let Notaday detect whether the text looks like a task, journal entry, or routine.
  4. Confirm or manually choose the type.
  5. Add channels, tags, due dates, notes, or connections if needed.
  6. Complete items from the Timeline as you work.
  7. Move non-urgent items into the Backlog.
  8. Use Daily Shutdown to reflect at the end of the day.

Entry Types

Type Best For Behavior
Task One-time work, reminders, to-dos Can be completed, moved to backlog, sorted, tagged, and assigned to channels.
Routine Repeating habits and recurring work Can appear mixed with tasks or in a separate section depending on settings.
Journal Reflections, thoughts, daily notes Premium journal features include rich editing, mood, context, and prompts.
