Profile And Settings

Profile and Settings contain account controls, plan management, API tokens, and workspace preferences.

Profile

The Profile page includes:

  • User identity and Google account status.
  • Account ID copy action.
  • Current plan status.
  • Lifetime Pro upgrade flow.
  • Coupon activation.
  • API-token creation, listing, and revocation.
  • Logout.
  • Account deletion.

Lifetime Pro

The app presents Lifetime Pro as a one-time upgrade. Premium status enables the Journal experience and premium timeline preferences.

Coupons can activate Lifetime Pro through the authenticated coupon endpoint.

API Tokens

API tokens are created from Profile Settings. A token value is only shown once when it is created. Existing tokens are later shown as masked values with creation and last-used timestamps.

Settings

Settings include:

Setting Values Notes

Journal Entries in Timeline Show, Hide Hide is a premium feature.
New Note Shortcut Mac, Windows/Linux, Disabled Local browser preference for opening the command entry composer.

Keyboard Preferences

The New Note shortcut opens the command entry composer from anywhere in the app. Notaday detects the user's operating system on first launch and stores the matching local preference:

  • macOS uses Cmd+Option+N.
  • Windows and Linux use Shift+Alt+N.

Users can switch to the other shortcut style or disable the shortcut entirely from Settings.
